About Me

Howdy, my name is Langston Scott, and I am the founder (and only employee) of Preponderance Tutoring Services. I am currently an undergraduate on the premedical path at the University of Florida. I have 4 years of tutoring experience in subjects ranging from mathematics to the sciences to reading comprehension and writing. I love to learn almost as much as I love to teach, and it is my personal promise to do everything I can to assist you or your child in achieving educational success.

 More About Me

I was the captain of my cross country and track teams in high-school, and founder and head instructor of the Spruce Creek High School chess club, so I know first-hand how to lead, motivate, and engage students to reach their greatest potential in the academic spheres and beyond.

The following are my favorite topics to teach. If you do not see something you are looking for on this list, feel free to contact me! I may still tutor that subject. These are just my strongest areas. The scores in parentheses are the scores I obtained on the classes’ respective exam. Classes without exams do not have these notes. For any IB or AP class present, I also teach its standard-level equivalent.
